Booking & Cancellation Policy

At Shush Skin Clinic, your time, your skin, and your results are all incredibly important to us. Every appointment is carefully planned to give you the best experience, with treatments tailored specifically for you.

As a small, independent clinic, late changes or disruptions have a big impact — not just on our day, but on other clients who may be waiting for space. To help keep everything running smoothly and fairly for everyone, we kindly ask that you read and agree to the following:

Deposits

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure all appointments.

  • This deposit goes towards the cost of your treatment and confirms your time slot.

  • Please note: all cancellations, no matter how much notice is given, will result in loss of deposit.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We understand that life happens — which is why you're welcome to reschedule your appointment once, as long as we’re given at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • If you need to reschedule again, a new booking and deposit will be required.

  • This helps us offer appointments fairly and protect time that can’t be rebooked at short notice.

Arrival Times

  • To help us stay on time and give every client the care they deserve, please arrive at your exact appointment time.

  • If you arrive early, we may not be able to accommodate you straight away — early arrivals can cut into essential cleaning, prep, or short breaks.

  • If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your treatment or may not be able to carry it out at all. In either case, your deposit will be lost.

No-Shows

  • If you do not attend your appointment and haven’t let us know, it will be marked as a no-show, and your deposit will be forfeited.

  • Multiple no-shows may result in being unable to book future appointments at the clinic.

Course Bookings

  • When you purchase a course of treatments, a portion of your payment is held as a deposit to secure each appointment within the course.

  • All cancellations result in the loss of this deposit.

  • If you reschedule more than once, cancel your appointment, or do not attend, a re-booking fee equal to 50% of the treatment cost will be required before your next session can be booked.

  • Course appointments can only be booked or managed in person at the clinic or via WhatsApp on 01271 614927.

Your information is used solely for the purpose of delivering safe and effective treatments, providing the best possible care, and maintaining accurate client records.

I do not share your personal information with third parties. In the event of an emergency, I may share relevant details with medical or emergency services, as part of my professional duty of care.

Photographs

Photos may be taken during your treatment journey to monitor results. These are stored securely and are never shared online or elsewhere without your written consent.

Appointment Reminders & Communication

To help you stay on top of your bookings, I send appointment reminders by email and text. You’ll also receive occasional updates about offers, discounts, and news from Shush Skin Clinic via email and SMS.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any email, or text STOP to opt out of SMS marketing.
